The History of Chevy's Corvette

It’s safe to say that Chevrolet’s iconic Corvette model is well known by most considering the beauty has continued to evolve over seven generations.  Originating back to 1953, the sports car has been considered to be at the top of its game on style and performance which makes sense considering the origin of its name.  The Corvette was surprisingly named after a World War II ship powered by a truck-sized V-8!

Ready... Set... Go! The World's Fastest Roads

Our fellow Chevrolet drivers, we understand the occasional desire to put the 'pedal to the metal.' However, it's important to do so legally. That said, we've found the top five roads that encourage faster driving:

1. Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah
There isn't a road, per se, but there is no speed limit, at all.

2. The Autobahns, Germany On speed-unrestricted stretches, an advisory speed limit of 130 kilometres per hour (81 mph) applies.

3. Between Alice Springs and Barrow Creek, Australia
The speed limit will soon be unlimited, just watch out for the kangaroos.

4. Isle of Man, Irish Sea (between Great Britain and Ireland)
Speed at your own risk, but be careful of the strong winds.

5. Nürburgring Motorsports Complex, Germany
It's said to be the home of the most demanding and difficult purpose-built racing circuit in the world.

Tasty Halloween Treats

If your family enjoys Halloween half as much as we do, you're sure to receive wonderful feedback from this fun and enjoyable recipe!

1 (3.4oz) package instant chocolate pudding
2 cups cold milk
8 oz Cool Whip
1 (16oz) package Oreos
Gummy Worms
Plastic cups

  1. In a large bowl, combine pudding and milk. Whisk for 2 minutes. Allow to set in fridge for 5 minutes so it can set a bit.
  2. Put Oreo cookies in a large plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. (A can of corn works well too!)
  3. When pudding is set, add the Cool Whip and half of the crushed cookies. Stir until the mixture is all the same color.
  4. Put 1 Tablespoon of remaining crushed cookies in each of the small plastic cups.
  5. Fill each cup 3/4 of the way with the pudding mixture.
  6. Top each cup with remaining cookies and gummy worms. Place in refrigerator to chill until ready to eat!
ENJOY!
